LORD BALFOUR OF BURLEIGH

My Lords, on behalf of the right rev. Prelate the Lord Bishop of Liverpool, I beg to introduce the Liquor (Popular Control) Bill, which is a Bill to amend the law relating to the manufacture, sale and supply of intoxicating liquor and to provide for the popular Control thereof, and of the grant and renewal of licences, and for other purposes incidental thereto; and to move that it be read a first time.
