Read 3a (according to Order) with the Amendments.

Clause 7 [Short title, construction and application of Part 1]:

THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (VISCOUNT PEEL) moved, in the proviso to subsection (2) of Clause 7, to leave out "the said section" and insert "Section 3 of this Act." The noble Viscount said: My Lords, I beg to move the Amendment of which I have given Notice. It is purely drafting.
