HL Deb 06 May 1926 vol 64 c120
THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY)

My fords, in moving the adjournment of your Lordships' House I cannot help thinking that probably your Lordships would wish to meet next week on Monday. In view of the state of public affairs it would hardly, I think, be reasonable that. the House of Lords should be adjourned for so long as from now until Tuesday, and accordingly I beg to move that this House do now adjourn until Monday next, 10th May.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at five minutes past five o'clock.
