HL Deb 10 February 1926 vol 63 c106

LORD CLWYD had on the Paper a Notice to ask His Majesty's Government whether it is their intention to submit a Motion to both Houses of Parliament this Session for the appointment of the Standing Joint Committee on Indian Affairs. The noble Lord said: My Lords, owing to the absence of the Secretary of State for India, the cause of which we much regret, I beg to postpone the Question standing in my name until Tuesday, March 2.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

I am much obliged to the noble Lord.

House adjourned at ten minutes before five o'clock.
