Amendments reported (according to Order).

CLAUSE 2.—Definition.

(2) In the application of this section to Scotland "county borough" has the same meaning as in the Blind Persons Act, 1920.

THE PAYMASTER-GENERAL (THE DUKE OF SUTHERLAND) moved to insert at the end of subsection (2): "and the expenses incurred by a county or town council under this Act shall be defrayed in like manner as expenses under the said Act." The noble Duke said: My Lords, this is a purely drafting Amendment. The noble Earl, Lord Crawford, has already approved of it, and I beg to move.
