§ [The references are to Bill No. 61]
§ Clause 1, page 2, line 20, at end insert ("An order made under this subsection for including any process amongst the processes 1517 specified in Section three hundred and thirty-four of the Act or for excluding any process therefrom may contain conditions and limitations subject to which the inclusion or exclusion is to take effect.")
My Lords, this is a Government Amendment. Its object is to empower the Minister to impose conditions and limitations if he includes a process among those which are exempted from the smoke law or if he excludes a process from the exemption. I do not think it is controversial in any way and it seems to be very rational. I beg to move that we agree with the Commons.
§ Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Viscount Gage.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
