HL Deb 28 May 1925 vol 61 c599
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, I beg to move that Standing Order No. 92 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of a Petition of the Wallasey Corporation. I make this Motion with some reluctance. Standing Order No. 92 prescribes a certain time table and I do not like that time table to be departed from, but I can certify to your Lordships that those concerned with the depositing of this particular Petition are in no way to blame, and I think that in this case your Lordships would be wise if you dispensed with the Standing Order.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 92 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of a Petition of the Wallasey Corporation.—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly: Leave given to present the Petition.
