The Committee were informed by the Chairman of Committees of the death, on 8th February last, of Mr. J. F. Symons Jeune, Examiner for Standing Orders since 1900.

Mr. Jeune originally entered the Parliament Office on 1st December, 1869, and he thus had been in the service of the House for over 55 years.

He will be long remembered for his efficient services to the House, and it will be the desire of all with whom Mr. Jeune was associated to record their keen regret at the loss of his services.

The Lord Chairman has appointed Mr. E. C. Vigors to succeed Mr. Jeune as Examiner for Standing Orders.
