The Committee appointed a Sub-Committee to consider a proposal which had been made to place in convenient positions in the House acoustic instruments for the use of Peers who may have difficulty in hearing the proceedings.

The following Lords were appointed to be the, Sub-Committee:—Marquess of Lincolnshire, Earl of Clarendon, Viscount Peel, Lord Stanmore and Lord Muir Mackenzie, with the Viscount Knutsford.
