HL Deb 27 July 1925 vol 62 c454
TUE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, before your Lordships adjourn, may I say that since we commenced our proceedings this afternoon I have been in communication with the Lord Chancellor, and I find that there will be no difficulty for your Lordships, if you think fit, to sit at 3 o'clock on and after Wednesday next. I think that may suit the convenience of the House and facilitate the carrying out of our business. I propose, with your consent, that we should meet at 12 o'clock on Friday instead of the usual time, and to take the Committee stage of the. Pensions Bill on that day, if your Lordships see fit to read it a second time to-morrow.

EARL BEAUCEAMP

My Lords, I think the course suggested by the noble Marquess is very convenient. I am quite sure that towards the end of the Session 3 o'clock is the best time for your Lordships to meet.

House adjourned at ten minutes past seven o'clock.
