HL Deb 05 August 1925 vol 62 c762

House in Committee (according to Order) on re-commitment of Bill; Amendment proposed by the Committee made.

THE DUKE OF SUTHERLAND

My Lords, with regard to this Bill I think I had better inform you that I propose to put a Motion on the Paper for tomorrow, with which I hope your Lordships will agree, enabling the House to take both the Report Stage and Third Reading to-morrow. This will allow the House of Commons time to consider the small Amendment which has been made in the Bill before Friday, and it will then be possible to give the Royal Assent to the Bill before the Recess.
