HL Deb 27 May 1924 vol 57 c684

Amendments reported (according to Order).

Restrictions on manufacture of therapeutic substances.

2.—(1) No person shall manufacture for sale any therapeutic substance to which this Act applies unless he holds a licence for the purpose from the licensing authority, or elsewhere than on the premises in respect of which such a licence is granted.

THE EARL OF ONSLOW moved, at the end of Clause 2, to leave out "granted" and insert "in force." The noble Earl said: My Lords, this is a small point. It puts the clause in exactly the same wording as the clause which was amended in Committee; the Amendment being suggested on that occasion by the Lord President of the Council.

Amendment moved— Clause 2, page 1, line 16, leave out ("granted") and insert ("in force")—(The Earl of Onslow.)

EARL DE LA WARR

The Government accept the Amendment.

On Question, Amendment agreed to.
