THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, I (beg to move that Standing Order No. 92 be considered in order to its being dispensed with with respect to a Petition of the Briton Ferry Works. If the Standing Order is dispensed with it will authorise the deposit of a late Petition. I have been in communication with the promoters and also the opponents of the Bill. The promoters have no objection to this late Petition being deposited and I, therefore, ask your Lordships to dispense with the Standing Order.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 92 be considered in order to its being dispensed with with respect to a Petition of the Briton Ferry Works.—(The Earl of Donoughmore).

On Question, Motion agreed to, and leave given to present the Petition accordingly.
