HL Deb 04 June 1924 vol 57 c851
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, it might be for the convenience of your Lordships if I venture to ask the noble and learned Viscount on the Woolsack what will be the extent of our holiday this Whitsuntide?

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT HALDANE)

My Lords, in answer to the noble Marquess I may say that, after consulting the opinion of a number of members of your Lordships' House, I do not think we need sit to-morrow if there is no business. In that case we should adjourn to-day, and I understand that it is the general opinion that we should adjourn until Tuesday, June 24.
