My Lords, I have to propose the Motions which stand in my name. Your Lordships are accustomed to agree to these Motions without going into any details, although I have them all here with me. A Committee is about to sit to deal with what I will not call the formalities but the procedure in these cases, and when next it is my duty to propose Motions of this kind it may be that I shall have to occupy more of your Lordships' time than I propose to do now.

Moved, That the Draft Special Order proposed to be made by the Board of Trade under Section 10 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1920, on the application of the Freshwater Gas Company, Limited, which was presented on the 21st May, and published, be approved.—(Lord Muir Mackenzie.)
