My Lords, there are upon the Paper some Amendments to this Bill which I was obliged to postpone from the last stage because they had not been printed. I move these Amendments now with the. entire concurrence of the members of the Joint Committee who dealt with the Bill. The point was brought to my notice after the Committee stage in this House, and I felt convinced that it was one which we should have covered if it had been before us in the Joint Committee, and I ask your Lordships to allow the Amendments to be made.
