HL Deb 27 July 1923 vol 54 c1453
THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to enact provisions for the regulation of street trading within the Metropolitan Police district, and to authorise the adoption of those provisions in certain other areas in England and Wales. It is not proposed to pass the Bill into law this Session. Indeed, I do not think my right hon. friend proposes that it should go further than the present stage; it is merely to get it printed.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 1a.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Bill read 1a; and to be printed.
