HL Deb 17 July 1923 vol 54 c1070

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion of which Notice has been given. If any of your Lordships desire an explanation of the Bills I shall be glad to afford it; but if not, as they are agreed to, it would be only trespassing unnecessarily on the time of the House to do so.

Moved, That the order made on the 26th day of April last, "That no Provisional Order Confirmation Bill brought from the House of Commons shall be read a second time after Thursday the 14th day of June next," be dispensed with, and that the Bills be now read 2a—(Lord Somerleyton.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and Bills read 2a, accordingly.
