THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)My Lords, I beg to move the Resolution which appears on the Paper in regard to this Bill. The Bill has had a very long passage through the House of Commons, owing to the importance of the provisions which it contains. It is now, I understand, unopposed, and I think it is reasonable that your Lordships should dispense with the Sessional Order.
§ Moved, That the Order made on the 26th day of April last, "That no Private Bill brought from the House of Commons shall be read a second time after Thursday the 14th day of June next," be dispensed with, and that the Bill be now read 2".—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to, and Bill read 2a accordingly.
