HL Deb 11 July 1923 vol 54 c926
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Perhaps your Lordships will allow me to take this opportunity of informing the House that it is definitely arranged now that there will be a statement upon the Ruhr at the beginning of business to morrow. I have to apologise to the House that the Finance Bill appears upon the Paper to-day. By an arrangement which was made that Bill had been postponed until Monday. I think that nothing is ever the fault of the officers of the House and the appearance of the Bill on the Paper to-day must have been due to a mistake on the part of one of us, but it ought not to appear on the Paper to-day. It will be taken on Monday.
