HL Deb 17 April 1923 vol 53 c686
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, I beg to move that this House do now adjourn.

Moved, That the House do now adjourn.—(The Marquess of Salisbury.)

THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHNIORE)

My Lords, on that Motion it may be for the convenience of your Lordships that I should say, with reference to an important debate on the Croydon Corporation Bill which is down for Second Reading tomorrow—when my noble friend opposite, Lord Crawford, will move, That it be an instruction to the Committee on the Croydon Corporation Bill to strike out of the Bill all powers relating to the compulsory acquisition of the Hospital of the Holy Trinity (otherwise known as the Whitgift Hospital) in Croydon with its chapel and offices—that a model of the hospital will be on view in the Royal Gallery to-morrow and, of course, available for all your Lordships to see.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at twenty minutes past four o'clock.
