THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, the Amendments which the Commons have presented for your Lordships' consideration have been examined by me, and I am able to advise your Lordships that they may be accepted without impairing the objects of the Bill. Many of them, in fact, though not of the first importance, are, I think, improvements, and therefore, unless any noble Lord wishes to raise any particular point, it may not be inconvenient if I move that the Commons Amendments en, bloc be agreed to.

Moved, That the Commons Amendments be agreed to.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
