HL Deb 27 March 1922 vol 49 c893
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, I desire to put a Question to my noble friend who is leading the House, as to what his intentions are with respect to the Electricity (Supply) Bill, which, at present, stands upon the Paper for Wednesday.

THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (THE EARL OF CRAWFORD)

I must apologise to the House for the difficulty that I have experienced in arranging for the further stages of this Bill. Conversations are proceeding on the subject, and perhaps it will be to the general interest of the House that the further stages should be postponed for a few days. I suggest, therefore, that the Bill should be put down for to-morrow week.
