HL Deb 16 March 1922 vol 49 c626
THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do now adjourn.

Moved, That the House do now adjourn.—(The Earl of Crawford.)

LORD GAINFORD

On that Motion, may I ask the noble Earl whether any arrangement has been made in regard to postponing the Electricity (Supply) Bill which was introduced by the Government a few days ago, and was, I think, put in the Paper for Tuesday next?

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

That Bill will not be taken on Tuesday next. I am not quite sure of the day for which my noble friend has put it down, but probably Tuesday week.

LORD GAINFORD

We may anticipate, then, that the Committee stage will not be taken before Tuesday week?

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

That is so.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at a quarter past eight o'clock.
