HL Deb 05 July 1922 vol 51 c290
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, before the House adjourns may I take the opportunity to give Notice that I propose to postpone the Motion standing in my name, with respect to the grant of Peerages, from July 10 to July 17, the Monday following, the reason being that that is the date fixed in the House of Commons for their debate on the same subject, and it has been thought the better plan that the two debates should be simultaneous.

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

I should also like to state that I am inviting Lord Strachie to postpone the Question which he has placed on the Paper for Monday next with reference to milk charges, as it is impossible to give an answer on that date.

House adjourned at five minutes before six o'clock.
