HL Deb 23 February 1922 vol 49 cc232-3
LORD LAMINGTON

My Lords, I beg to ask His Majesty's Government the Question of which I have given Notice—namely, when the full text of the Treaty with Afghanistan will be laid on the Table.

THE MARQUESS CURZON OF KEDLESTON

My Lords, the actual text of the Treaty itself, as signed at Kabul, was in Persian, but a translation has been pre- pared and will be laid shortly as a Treaty Series Paper. Meanwhile, I will make arrangements for two copies to be placed in the Library for the convenience of the noble Lord or of any others who wish to see it.
