My Lords, I beg to make the Motion which stands in the name of the noble Earl the Under-Secretary of State for India—namely, "That it is desirable that a Committee of eleven Lords be appointed to join with a Committee of eleven members to be appointed by the House of Commons as a Standing Joint Committee on Indian Affairs."
