HL Deb 13 December 1922 vol 52 c386
LORD MUIR MACKENZIE

My Lords, on behalf of my noble and learned friend Lord PHILLIMORE, who is unable to be here this afternoon, I beg to make the Motion standing in his name with regard to the attendances of Temporal Peers. I believe there is no difficulty about giving this Return, which is quite short, and I gather that it will practically be a continuation of a Return that was given to this House a few years ago.

Moved, That there be laid before the House a Return of the Number of Temporal Peers who (1) did not attend the sittings of the House; or (2) attended them less than ten times in the sessions of 1918, 1919, 1920, 1921, and 1922 respectively.—(Lord Muir Mackenzie.)

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, the Government have no objection to this Return.

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
