Costs of Order.

22. All costs charges and expenses of and incident to the preparing for obtaining and confirming of this Order or otherwise in relation thereto shall be paid by the Company and may in whole or in part be charged against revenue.

LORD STANMORE had an Amendment. on the Paper to delete from Clause 22 all words after "Company" The noble Lord said: It has been pointed out by the Treasury that under the clause as drafted the existence of the Order may be made a ground of charge against the Exchequer in the settlement of the company's account, and the Amendment is made in order that no such charge may arise.

Amendment moved— In the Schedule, Clause 22, page 11, line 20, leave out from (" Company ") to end of clause—(Lord Stamnore)
