MINISTRY OF HEALTH PROVISIONAL

ORDERS (No. 5) BILL.

MINISTRY OF HEALTH PROVISIONAL

ORDERS (WATER) BILL.

MARRIAGES PROVISIONAL ORDER BILL.

Moved, That the Order made on the 13th day of April last, "That no Provisional Order Confirmation Bill brought from the House of Commons shall be read a second time after Thursday, the 16th day of June next" be dispensed with.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.

THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY OF THE -MINISTRY OF HEALTH (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, in moving that these Bills be read a second time, may I say that the Marriages Provisional Order Bill is quite formal in character. It is introduced to confirm a Provisional Order to set right any doubts there may be in regard to the validity of certain marriages conducted in two churches in Leeds. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bills be now read 2ª.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Bills read 2ª.
