HL Deb 24 June 1920 vol 40 cc842-3

Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

THE UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR AIR (THE MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY)

My Lords, the noble Marquess (Lord Salisbury), who was here a moment ago, raised a point the other day in Committee in regard to the insertion of a clause for imposing penalties on those who flew aeroplanes to the danger of the public. He was satisfied on the Committee stage that the clause in the Bill answered the question which he put on that occasion. I will now simply ask your Lordships to give the Bill a Third Reading.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(The Marquess of Londonderry.)

On Question, Bill read 3a.

Amendments (privilege) made Bill passed, and sent to the Commons.
