HL Deb 01 December 1920 vol 42 c781

Commons Amendment considered (according to Order).

THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, I move that the Commons Amendment be agreed to. It is consequential on an Amendment made here by your Lordships. I notice that the Amendment when discussed in the House of Commons was left to a free vote—the Government Whips were not put on—and that being so, I do not hesitate to ask your Lordships to agree to it.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
