My Lords, there are no Orders or Notices on the Paper for to-day. I move, therefore, that the House do adjourn until a quarter past four to-morrow, when the Notice of Motion standing in the name of the noble and learned Lord; Lord Buckmaster, will be taken.

Lord BUCKMASTER'S Notice is in the following form: "To call attention to the gravity of the financial position in which this country stands, and to move to resolve, That in the opinion of this House it is essential that further taxation should be instantly imposed."
