Petition of the Shropshire, Worcestershire, and Staffordshire Electric Power Company under their Common Seal praying for leave to introduce a Bill to empower the Shropshire, Worcestershire, and Staffordshire Electric Power Company to raise additional capital and for other purposes; together with a copy of the said Bill annexed thereto; read, and referred to the Examiners.

The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificate from the Examiners that the Standing, Orders applicable to the following Bill have been complied with:

Tramways Provisional Orders. [H.L.]

Also the Certificate that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bill have been complied with:

Tyne Improvement.

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.

agreed to; and the said Lords appointed accordingly: The Committee to meet on Tuesday the 1st of July next, at Eleven o'clock; and all Petitions referred to the Committee, with leave to the Petitioners praying to be heard by Counsel against the Bills to be heard as desired, as also Counsel for the Bills.
