Page 1, line 26, leave out from ("course") to the end of subsection (1) and insert ("or for the purposes of a stage play or representation, or a music-hall or circus performance if the uniform is not worn in such a manner or under such circumstances as to bring it into contempt").


I beg to move that this Amendment be agreed to. It is a very simple one, and does not alter the sense in any way.
