HL Deb 04 August 1919 vol 36 cc317-8
TEE EARL OF CRAWFORD

My Lords, in moving that your Lordships do now adjourn until 3 o'clock to-morrow, I beg to announce, with reference to the Notice of Motion given this afternoon by the Lord President of the Council relating to a Vote of Thanks to His Majesty's Forces, that the Lord President on Wednesday next will also invite your Lordships to pass a Resolution of Thanks to Marshal Foch, Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces. These two Motions, if your Lordships will agree, will come as the first Order on Wednesday, and Standing Order No. XXI will accordingly be suspended for that day. Your Lordships, I am afraid, will also be of necessity invited to sit on Friday next.

House adjourned at twenty minutes past eight o'clock.
