§ LORD HYLTONMy Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Earl of Crawford, I beg to move that the Message of the House of Commons on Tuesday last be taken into consideration,viz.—
§ "That it is expedient that a Select Committee of Five Members of this 221 House be appointed to join with a Committee of the Lords to inquire into the conditions under which the Government works at Cippenham are being carried out, the cost that is involved, and the responsibility for the advice on which the scheme was undertaken."
§ Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.
