HL Deb 19 November 1918 vol 32 c205
VISCOUNT MIDLETON

My Lords, could the noble Lord who is acting as Leader of the House tell us what business it is proposed to take to-morrow, and the time at which it is proposed that your Lordships should sit. I should particularly like to know whether it is proposed to take certain Bills through all their stages tomorrow, and if not, what stages.

LORD HYLTON

The Leader of the House will be in his place directly, and no doubt he will be able to answer the noble Viscount's question. I am afraid I am not in a position to do so.

VISCOUNT MIDLETON

Perhaps the Leader of the House would make an announcement before the close of business. I only want to point out that sometimes at the close of business there is a very small attendance, and your Lordships would have no knowledge of the very serious measures that I understand it is in contemplation to pass through all their stages to-morrow.
