HL Deb 14 November 1918 vol 32 c138
LORD STANMORE

My Lords, there was a misunderstanding yesterday as to a Motion made by my noble friend Lord Strachie for a Return on cultivation in the Royal Parks. Lord Strachie intended, and on behalf of the Office of Works agreed, that the Return should be granted; but there is some doubt whether the Motion was put. In these circumstances, for the purpose of carrying out the intentions of all parties, I ask your Lordships' permission to treat the Motion as though it had been put.

On Question, Motion agreed to, and the Return allowed accordingly.
