HL Deb 29 July 1918 vol 31 cc50-1
VISCOUNT SANDHURST

My Lords, I desire, on behalf of the noble Earl the Leader of the House, to give notice that he will to-morrow move the suspension of Standing Order No. XXXIX in regard to the Income Tax Consolidation Bill. The Bill originated here, and it is essential to get it to the House of Commons as soon as possible. I believe that the noble Marquess, Lord Crewe, has signified his assent to this course.

THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

I take no exception to the course proposed.

VISCOUNT SANDHURST

I beg to move that the House do meet to-morrow afternoon at half-past three.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

[From Minutes of July 26.]
