§ The Committee heard with regret of the retirement of Mr. Cecil Anstruther, Chief Clerk and Clerk of Printed Papers, and sanctioned the grant to him of a pension at the rate of £000 a year as from the 1st June next, and of the additional allowance of £1,957 4s., the pension and allowance being calculated in accordance with the Superannuation Act, 1909.
§ Mr. Anstruther retires under the Superannuation Rule (after a six months' extension of service) on June 1 next. He has been in the service of the House for forty-two yearn and has been Chief Clerk since 1910, and has superintended the Printed Paper Office since 1902.
