HL Deb 09 April 1918 vol 29 c658
THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (THE EARL OF CRAWFORD)

My Lords, as there is no business on the paper for to-morrow, I suggest that your Lordships should adjourn until Thursday.

Moved, That the House do adjourn until Thursday next.—(The Earl of Crawford.)

THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

Is the noble Earl able to tell us anything about the business for next, week?

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

If the noble Marquess will raise that point on Thursday, it will then be possible to estimate with some certainty on what day the Man-Power Bill is likely to reach your Lordships from the other House. To-night I am afraid I can give no information.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at fifteen minutes past seven o'clock.
