HL Deb 09 August 1917 vol 26 c308

[SECOND READING.]

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

My Lords, this Bill forms larger public health authorities in Ireland than those now existing. It assimilates the practice in Ireland to that prevailing in this country, and is desired in order to facilitate the working of the new plan for combating venereal disease.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2*.—(The Earl of Crawford.)

On Question, Bill read 2*, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House to-morrow.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before eight o'clock, till to-morrow, half-past three o'clock.
