§ EARL CURZON OF KEDLESTONMy Lords, in moving the adjournment of the House, may I suggest that it will be for the convenience of your Lordships that the debate which will commence at the, ordinary hour to-morrow—on the Second Reading of the Corn Production Bill—should be continued at half-past three on Friday afternoon, in order to enable those of your Lordships who wish to take part in the debate to have an opportunity of doing so.
THE MARQUESS OF CREWEMay I ask when it is proposed to take the Committee stage of the Bill which has just been read a second time?
§ VISCOUNT SANDHURSTI do not know how the business with regard to the Corn Production Bill will progress. Therefore I must consult my noble friends on this Bench about the question put to me by the noble Marquess.
§ THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURYI hope the noble Viscount or the Leader of the House will give us ample notice when the Committee stage of the New Ministries Bill will be taken, because we have to consider what Amendments we shall put down.
§ EARL CURZON OF KEDLESTONIt is considered important that the Bill should leave this House at as early a date as possible; but perhaps the noble Marquess will allow me to make a statement to-morrow afternoon as to the date of the Committee stage.
§ House adjourned at five minutes-past seven o'clock, till to-morrow, a quarter past four o'clock.
