Petition of Raymond Stephenson, a member of the firm of O'Keeffe and Lynch, Solicitors, of 30, Molesworth Street, Dublin, praying that the attendance of Claude Bernard, a Doctor of Medicine, on the Second Reading of the said Bill be dispensed with, and that the deposition of the said Claude Bernard, sworn before His Majesty's Vice-Consul at St. Malo, be received in evidence on the Second Reading of the said Bill: And that substituted service of a copy of the said Bill, and of the Order for the Second Reading thereof, and of all other Orders in connection therewith, be made upon Clifford Lloyd and Son, Solicitors, of 33, Kildare Street, Dublin, and be deemed as good service of the said Bill and Orders as if the same had been personally served upon the said Edward St. George Tottenham Irvine: Considered (according to Order): Counsel called in: A witness examined: Ordered, That the prayers of the Petition be granted, with the addition of the words "Mr. Wilmot Lloyd, of the firm of" before the words "Clifford Lloyd and Son, Solicitors": Bill to be read 2a on the first sitting day for Judicial business after the Recess at Easter: The usual Orders made.
