HL Deb 26 April 1916 vol 21 c819
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Before public business begins I should like to ask the noble Marquess whether he can tell us what the Government propose with regard to the sittings of the House next week. Some of us think that it would not be right to adjourn for many days, and we should be glad if the Government would take us into their confidence in the matter.

THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNE

Subject to the approval of the House, I should suggest that at the end of the sitting to-day we should adjourn until Tuesday of next week.
