HL Deb 23 September 1915 vol 19 c923
THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

I understand that there is no business on the Paper for Tuesday, but the Consolidated Fund Bill will come up from the House of Commons in the course of that day and it ought to receive the Royal Assent on Wednesday. It is, I take it, not a Bill of the character on which we should desire to have much discussion here, and therefore I would remind the House that if we are not to sit on Tuesday it will be necessary to take that Bill through all its stages on Wednesday. I hope no objection will be taken to that course.

EARL ST. ALDWYN

I shall raise no objection.

Standing Order No. XXXIX to be considered on Wednesday next, in order to its being suspended for that day's sitting.
