ALDWYNMy Lords, I rise to ask the noble Marquess who leads the House whether he will be able to make a statement to-morrow of a similar kind to that made by the Prime Minister in another place this evening on the subject of the action which the Government propose to take in regard to the Welsh Church (Postponement) Bill; and also whether the noble Marquess will then be able to tell us when, and for what period, he proposes to move the adjournment of your Lordships' House for the recess.
THE MARQUESS OF CREWEMy Lords, I hope to-morrow to be able to make a statement on the subject which the Prime Minister, as the noble Earl has pointed out, mentioned in another place to-day; and I also hope to be in a position to give a definite answer as to the date, and also the length, of the proposed adjournment of the House.
