HL Deb 25 August 1914 vol 17 c505
THE LORD PRIVY SEAL AND SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA (THE MARQUESS OF CREWE)

My Lords, I am not in a position to-day to make any statement regarding the course of future business; but it will, I think, be in accordance with the desire of the House that until I am able to do so we should sit from day to day. Therefore in moving the adjournment, I propose that the House should adjourn until to-morrow and meet at the usual hour.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before Five o'clock, till Tomorrow, a quarter past Four o'clock.
