HL Deb 05 August 1914 vol 17 cc388-9

Order of the Day for receiving the Report of Amendments, read.

EARL BEAUCHAMP

Your Lordships may remember that when we considered this Bill in Committee there was some question of agreeing to an Amendment suggested to us by Lord Salisbury. We have communicated with the noble Marquess, and as we have had no answer from him I venture to hope that the noble Marquess is satisfied with the explanation given to him on behalf of the Department. I beg to move that the Report be now received.

Moved, That the Report of Amendments be now received.—(Earl Beauchamp.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and Bill to be read 3ª To-morrow.
